Liliuokalani, By the Grace of God, Queen of the Hawaiian Islands, By this, Its Her Royal Patent The Government of the Republic of Hawaii makes known to all men, that It has She hath for herself, her heirs and successors , this day granted and given unto J. Francisco Cumbra for the consideration of Ninety Eight 64/100 ($98 64/100) Dollars paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that piece of Land situate at Waiakoa, Kula in the Island of Maui and described as follows:

Beginning at the North corner, at a stone marked [diagram triangle with dot in middle] and running
1. South 52° 40' East true 259 feet along Lot 1 to a large stone marked [diagram triangle with dot in middle] at the North East corner of L.C.A.8462B Apana 1. Kailianu
