To the Land Commissioners: I hereby petition you for my claim for land. I have twelve lo`i and one house lot in the `ili of Kauluwela, in the Ahupua`a of Honolulu. The twelve lo`i are situated in one place, and my house is in another place, adjoining the lots of Kaule, Waialeale, and Kamaile. My twelve lo`i are bounded on the north by the mo`o of Nahale, on the east by the mo`o of Pauhiwa, on the south by the -po`alima lo`i of Kaule, on the west by the mo`o of Kalawemauna. Those are my land claims and their boundaries.

.... er of the said moo land. Just as Pala has mentioned that the time of his marriage to Kaluoku, he worked for the konohiki, for this moo land only therefore, I feel that the house site and pasture are for her. The boundaries are:

Mauka, Atonia (grapevines)
Waikiki, Kamaile and konohiki
Makai and Ewa, by konohiki.

Kapouhiwa, sworn, I am familiar with this place in Kauluwela. I have lived there for ten years now and I have seen the ili land which is together with mine, just as Male has stated here. The pasture and house site are for Pala from Kalawaia at the time Kamaikahulipu was konohiki in 1836. They are living there on this place without incident.
