Liliuokalani, By the Grace of God, Queen Sanford [sic] Dole, President of the Provisional Government of the Hawaiian Islands: By this Her Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that She He hath for herself, her heirs and successors, this day granted and given unto C. Gertz for the consideration of Two Hundred and Three ($203.x) Dollars paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that piece of Land situate at Kuaia, Hilo, in the Island of Hawaii and described as follows:
