KALAKAUA, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands: By this His Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has for himself, his heirs and successors, this day granted and given unto A.V. Marciel, for the consideration of Twenty-five and Nine one ($2591) Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that piece of Land situate at Kaupo, in the Island of Maui and described as follows:
Lot. No. 1. Naholoku
Beginning at Southwest Angle of Grant 3378 (Owali) Apana 2, thence running by true meridian:
South 84° 25' West 1160 feet along Government Lot No. 7
South 67° 00' West 666 feet along Gr ....
