Kalakaua, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this, His Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself, his heirs and successors, this day granted and given unto W.G. Irwin and Claus Spreckles for the consideration of One dollar and of a certain deed of exchange from William G. Irwin and Claus Spreckles dated April 14, 1888 & recorded in Book 110 pages 193-199 paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that piece of Land situate at Waikaalulu and Papalele & Hauhauula, & Kalua, Hama ....
