Kalakaua, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this His Royal Patent, makes known to all men, that he hath for himself, his heirs and successors, this day granted and given unto and quit claimed unto Kalama Kaopua Kaumuloa, wife of Kaumuloa, of Honolulu, Island of Oahu, her heirs and assigns for the consideration of Fifty Dollars ($50.x) paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that piece of Land situate at in the Island of and described as follows: an in pursuance of a resolution of the King in Cabinet Council adopted the 13th day of January A.D. 1887, and in consideration that Said Kalama Kaopua Ka ....

The direct distance and bearing being North 3° 00' East true 1400 feet.

Containing One Thousand Two Hundred & Seventy Six Acres, more or less; excepting and reserving to the Hawaiian Government all mineral or metallic Mines of every description.
To have and to hold the above granted Land in Fee Simple, unto the said Kalama Kaopua Kumuloa and her Heirs and Assigns forever.
Witness Ourself at Honolulu, this 14th day of January 1887 in the thirteenth year of Our Reign.
