Kalakaua, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this, His Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself, his heirs and successors, this day granted and given unto William Moriarty for the consideration of Ten Hundred and Eighty Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that piece of Land situate at Kulaokahua, Kona in the Island of Oahu and described as follows:
Lots Nos. 265 and 294 on Government Survey map of Kulaokahua Plains, Honolulu
Beginning at a point on South side of Kinau Street 600 feet from West angle of Kinau and Keeaumoku streets, thence running:
North 68° 48' West true 100 feet along Kinau Street
South 21° 12' West true 300 feet along Lots 295 and 264
South 68° 48' East true 100 feet along Beretania Street
North 21° 12' East true 300 feet along Lots 260 and 293 to the Initial point.
Area 30000 Square Feet

Containing 30000 Square Feet Acres, more or less; excepting and reserving to the Hawaiian Government, all mineral or metallic mines of every description.
To have and to hold the above granted Land in Fee Simple, unto the said William Moriarty, Heirs and Assigns forever.
Witness Ourself, at Honolulu, this 24th day of November, 1882, in the Ninth year of Our Reign.
