Greetings to the Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands: I hereby enter my claim for land in the `Ili of Alewa in Honolulu, Oahu. There are six lo`i and the parcel of kula house lot. There is one parcel in this claim and it is bounded as follows: mauka, the land of Imihia, Waikiki, the lo`i ko`ele of the Government named "Kapaeli", makai, the land of Punalua for Poomanu and the government kula, E ....

.... was agreed that they would work for the fort of the government throughout all their day. I was asked to send M. Kekuanaoa a memorandum reading: "I have permitted, Nahalelauhala and Namakahikiea to live with you on the fort in the same way upon which it was agreed in the beginning and I have returned Alewa and Punnui for the government. This is the time I had seen Nahinalua living there, I am not there any more.
