To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I, the undersigned, hereby state my claim for land to you, the Land Commissioners of the Independent Hawaiian Islands. There are two mo`o, in the `ili of Kawaiki, situated within the Ahupua`a of Honolulu on the Island of Oahu, Hawaiian Islands. That is what I have to tell you.
