Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this his Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto John Antone for the consideration of Thirty seven dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land, situated at Keekee 2, Kona, in the Island of Hawaii, and described as follows:

.... eking the intervention of any Foreign Nation or Representative, and in case he or they shall refuse as to do, his and their estate therein and all of his and their rights, title and interest therein, shall cease and determine, and the same shall be immediately forfeited and escheat to the Hawaiian Government.
