Kamehameha III., By the grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this His Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Kaisara Kapaakea, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of one dollar, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land, situated at Aapueo 1st & 2nd Kula, in the Island of Maui, and described as follows:

Commencing at the makai point of this land, in a path crossing the bottom of the ravine of Kamaehu, just where it divides forming Kahapapa gulch on the East, and Makahulali gulch on the West, and runnning mauka along the bottom of Kahapapa gulch, between this land and Aapueo nui to the makai point of Aapueo Kauiki; thence along the bottom of the same gulch, which separates this land f ....
