Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Gerrit P. Judd, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of One Hundred and Twenty-seven Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Wananalua Hana, in the Island of Maui, and described as follows:

Beginning at post on the mauka side of the road, on border of Wananalua and Pakahia on the South side of small ravine, and running
North 78° East 17.94 chains along border of Pakahia to sea;
North 22 1/2° West 7.36 chains along seaside;
North 28 1/2° East 10.53 chains along sea to corner of Maui's.
South 72 1/4° West 8.60 chains along church yard to Wahie's wall;
South 17 1/4° East 12.45 chains along Wahie's to the beginning, containing an area of Twenty-six acres
