Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto M. Kekuanaoa, Guardian of Victoria Kamamalu, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of One Dollar, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Kamoawaa, Manoa in the Island of Oahu and described as follows:
Commencing at stake at makai South corner of this land on Pulena ridge joining Kaunuohua's land and running
North 62° West 9 83/100 Chains along Kaunuohua's land ....
