Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto William Johnson, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Two Thousand Four Hundred & Thirty two Dollars ($2432.00), paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Kona in the Island of Hawaii and described as follows:
The Great Walled Lot.
Commencing at mauka East corner of Great Stone Wall joining Charles Hall's land on South side of this and running
North 24° West 13 Chains 59 1/2 feet along mauka wall to angle, thence
North 36° 30' West 5 Chains to angle of wall, thence
North 25° 30' West 21 1/2 Chains along wall & to pile of stones on knowl [knoll] 1 Chain mauka & bend in wall, thence
North 25° West 20 Chains along wall to mauka North corner of Great Stone Wall & of this land, thence
South 72° 45' West 42 Chains 37 feet along North wall to angle, thence
South 60° 15' West 29 Chains 60 8/12 feet along wall to angle, thence
