Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Paul F. Manini, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of One Hundred and Forty three & Thirty five Hundredths Dollars ($43.35), paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Kaneohe, Koolau in the Island of Oahu and described as follows:
Punaluu Makai
Commencing at pile stones at makai East corner of this land, joining Waikoloa, by sea and running
South 47° West 2 Chains 36 4/12 feet along Waikoloa to stake, angle, thence
South 54° West 16 4/10 Chains along Waikoloa to corner of house by stone wall, angle, thence
South 86° West 9 Chains 17 10/12 feet along top of river bank to Hau tree marked A, angle, thence
North 70° 15' West 5 1/2 Chains along on top to bend of river bank, thence [note:appears to be an addin but is illegible]
North 44° 45' East 12 15/100 Chains along church lot to East corner of church lot, thence
