Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto William E. Gill, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of $39.66 Thirty-nine and sixty six Hundredths Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all those that certain piece of Land situated at Kalauau, Ewa in the Island of Oahu and described as follows:
The mauka half of Kauopai
Commencing at East corner of this land joining Kapuai and running
South 31° 30' West 1 Chain 36 4/12 feet along wall to South corner of this part, thence
North 63° 45' West 5 Chains 43 8/12 feet cutting Kauaopai to land called Kauopolei by auwai, thence
North 31° 15' West 2 8/10 Chains along Kauopolei, angle, thence
North 38° 30' East 21 10/12 feet, angle, thence
North 15° 15' West 3 Chains 11 10/12 feet to Hau bushes at West corner of this land, thence
North 71° 15' East 1 1/4 Chains to North corner this, thence
South 14° East 3 Chains 56 feet along Kapuai to angle, thence
South 61° 30' East 5 2/10 Chains along Kapuai to angle, thence
South 50° 15' East 1 3/4 Chains to place of commencment.
Including an area of 1 8/10 Acres.
