Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Robert Hunt, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Sixteen 85/100 dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Waipio, Ewa in the Island of Oahu and described as follows:
Commencing at stake by path at North West corner of this land, and running
South 18° 45' West 1 61/100 chains along Laauli to angle, thence
South 36° 45' West 3 65/100 chains along Laauli to corner, thence
South 41° East 17 links to corner, thence
South 33 3/4° West 1 7/100 chains to West corner of this land, thence
South 45° East 6 1/4 chains along Hana ....
