Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Paul F. Manini, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Fourteen Dollars and Seventy five cents, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Waikele, Ewa (Waipahu) in the Island of Oahu and described as follows:
Commencing at stake at west corner of this land and running
North 57° East 1 Chain 64 feet along land called Kapakahi to angle, thence
North 62° 15' East 2 Chains 61 4/12 feet along Kapakahi to North corner of this land, thence
South 33° 15' East 1 Chain 37 7/12 feet along Hoomaikaia (John Ii's) to angle, thence
South 47° 15' East 2 Chains to angle of kuauna, thence
South 38° East 1 Chain 47 1/2 feet angle, thence
South 27° 15' East 2 Chains 27 feet always along Hoomaikaia to East corner this land, thence
South 63° 30' West 60 feet along Kaahupuaa to angle, thence
South 48° West 1 Chain 37 7/12 feet to angle, thence
South 16° West 1 Chain 9 3/12 feet to angle, thence
