Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto William Jarret, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of One Hundred and Fifty Two Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Waikele, Ewa {Waipahu} in the Island of Oahu and described as follows:

Commencing at South East corner of this land on Waikele river West edge, joining land called Kahapuupuu and running
North 81° West 59 5/12 feet along land called Kahapuupuu to angle of kuauna, thence
South 85° 30' West 61 4/12 feet to angle of Kuauna, thence
South 41° 30' West 15 2/12 feet angle, thence
North 71° 15' West 35 4/12 feet angle, thence
South 76° 15' West 2 1/4 Chains corner Kalo patch, thence
North 65° West 44 3/12 feet angle, thence
South 60° West 58 feet angle, thence
North 47° 45' West 39 7/12 feet angle kuauna, thence
North 66° 45' West 1 Chain to wall stone marked + off from Kalo on to Kula land, thence
North 55° 45' West 3 Chain 23 feet to stone marked + on west edge of main road, thence
South 48° West 4 Chains 19 10/12 feet along road to corner, thence
North [?]° 15' West 3 Chains 45 feet to top of ridge at East part of bight of bottom on low land, then following around bight on top of pali always along land called Pau hala to large rock marked + on top of pali at the mauka West corner of this lan ....
