Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Asa Kaeo his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of One Dollar, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Laimi, Nuuanu Valley, in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:
Commencing atthe mauka North corner of the H. Peirce Lot on East side of main road and running along stone wall to the mauka East corner of the H. Pierce lot, then along stone wall mauka along lands claimed by Kaleihiana, Koamai and Namauu to mauka North corner of wall enclosing H. Swinton's Leased Lot, thence
