Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Simon Peter Kalama his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Thirty One Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Puahuula, Manoa, in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:

Commencing at a rock marked + at makai boundary of M. Kekuanaoa's land by road leading to Puka Omaomao, and running
South 22° 15' West 5 Chains 8 feet along the road to a stake, an ....
