Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto Gerrit P. Judd, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Fifty Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at near Kahookane, Honolulu, in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:
Commencing at stake at Southeast corner of this lot, joining Nuuanu Road & lot claimed by Namauu on Kahookane, & running
North 55° West 156 1/2 feet along between this lot & Namauu's to slight angle in wall joining Thomas Phillips' lot, thence
North 52° 45' West 479 feet along boundary line between this lot, Thomas Phillips' & Paki's to angle in wall, thence
