Kamehameha III, By the grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this his Royal Patent, makes known unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors if office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee simple unto. I.N.AC.C. Gilman for the use of his Hawaiian born Heirs, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of One Dollar, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Waikakalaua, in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:
Beginning at the Bridge of Waikakalaua on the South side of the Water course and running
North 16 1/2° West 92 4/10 chains to a stone, thence running
North 50° East 16 4/10 chains to a stone, thence running
North 60° E ....
