Royal Patent
Kamehameha III, By the Grace of God, King of the Hawaiian Islands, by this Royal Patent, makes known, unto all men, that he has for himself and his successors in office, this day granted and given, absolutely, in Fee Simple unto William Paty, his faithful and loyally disposed subject for the consideration of Four Hundred and Fifty Dollars, paid into the Royal Exchequer, all that certain piece of Land situated at Wananakoa, Nuuanu, in the Island of Oahu, and described as follows:
Commencing at wall outside West corner of this lot, being also North corner of Mr. Nye"s lot adjoining and 5 feet from first post in boundary fence, and running
South 50° 30" East 6 Chains 7 9/12 feet along post and chain fence to stone wall, thence
South 50° East 2 Chains 46 1/12 feet along stone wall boundary fence between this and Nye"s lot to little Rivulet outside of wall, thence
