Honorable Members of the Privy Council, Greetings: I, the undersigned, hereby state my claim for taro land in the `ili of the Ahupua`a, situated in Kalihi waena, Oahu, on that side of the stream, just makai of the bridge. The konohiki is Aki wahine. It is bounded on the north by a land for Kauki, on the east and south a land for Kaua, on the west by a land for P. Kahalehau. There are also four lo`i in this claim for which I petition, within Kaua's land. This land has been held by me from the time that Kahuna was the tax official, until this day on which I write.
