I have heard that Napoeha has petitioned, saying he is the one with the right to that place. If that is so, I absolutely deny before you that he has the right to that lot, that place is not his. That place Is for us, with my husband, Kalauwalu. That place was only set aside before and ....

Antonio Sam, sworn deposed, that Elisabeth & Louisa are now about 10 years old.
Keahonui, sworn deposed, when I was first acquainted with the place, it was a common. Kalewaru then fenced it in in 1836 & subsequently a foregner who was a sadler lived in the yard & also another foreigner named Carpenter. Sometime after this, I know Charles Simon lived there, but I do not know on what terms. That is all I know on the subject
