To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my house and land claim, at Koipuu in Hoaeae, Ewa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the irrigation ditch of Namauu and my irrigation ditch and the pali and my kula as far as the land fence, on the east by the land division of Kaneikawaieola, on the south by the irrigation ditch and the land of Ka ....

Kaiawa had given Kealaiki his land at the time of Manuia and Namauu was the konohiki. Kaiawa is Kamauu's servant and all of Kealaiki's places have been from him (Kamauu) and he is living in peace now.
I, sworn, I have seen Kealaiki's land exactly as Kanui has related here.
