To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim. This land is at Peleula in Honolulu on Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Kaliu, this place is mine, on the east the fence and the road, on the south, the place of I. Piikoi, on the west, the houses of I. Kapena. My second claim is at Kaliu, Honolulu. They have lived there a long time and for many years. However, I do not know how Pehu had received his interest, altho' no one has objected.
Umiokalani, sworn, There is a very slight error in Moemake's report. He has made a mistake on the section I as mentioned above, for this is not it. Kukapu has filed a separate claim and it is not yet time to work on this interest. Poki is the person from whom Pehu had received his land and there it is he has lived peacefully to the present time; no one has objected.
