Puunui's land is from Ihu, the konohiki, in the year 1838 and Kamakee is the konohiki at this time and living has continued till recently in 1848 Kamakee protested for section II, leaving sections I, III and IV. Kamakee took this land because he thought these patches had originally been Friday patches, so he complained to Hooliamanu and the decision was in Puunui's favor. Again, Kamakee complained, this time to Kekuanaoa and again the decision was for Puunui. All of the patches are with Puunui now.
