Know all men by these presents, that I, Richard Charlton, a subject of her Brittanic Majesty, at present residing at Wahoo, one of the Sandwich Islands, in consideration of the sum of (700$) seven hundred dollars to me paid by Louis Desiré Maigret, the receipt of which I do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained, sold & confirmed, and by these presents do grant, bargain, sell & confirm unto the said Louis Desire Maigret that piece or parcel of land situated in the valley of Manoa in the Island of Wahoo, commonly known by the name of Waiderry or Wailele, to have & to hold the same with all the right ....
