Kaeo, sworn, I had given him in 1845 that place which has been completely enclosed. It is for him to have until his death and he has paid for ithaving worked for me. I had given the house at the same time and the Royal Patent was issued in the month of September 1848.
Kiki, sworn, I had given him /land/ in the year 1847 because of his relation to me as a parent-in-law. Kaeo had given me my interest in the year 1842 probably; no one had objected to me.
Kaeo, I had given him land, altho'he remained subject to me.
