Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby tell you of my land claim at Waikiki. One whole lo`i and also a half of a lo`i, given me by Kahue in the year 1847. I have held this place peacefully under the konohiki with no objections.

Kahue had received his interest from Alika for he had been the konohiki under Alika and he is on Kauai at the present time.
