Know all men by these presents that I, Eugene Sulivan, a citizen of the United States of America, a present a resident at the Sandwich islands, Gentleman, for and in consideration of three thousand five hundred dollars paid to me in France by Stephen Rouchouze, Bishop of Nilopolis, a citizen of France, do hereby give, grant, sell & convey [to?] the said Stephen Rouchouze, Bishop of Nilopolis, his heirs and assigns, a certain tract & parcel of land in the Town of Honolulu, Island of Oahu, one of the Sandwich islands, bounded by the premise of Reverend John Diell ....
