.... alu had given Pavao /land/ in the year 1846 and Pavao had received his interest from Nuuanu, but Kuawalu is now living in Lihue. Nuuanu had given this land in the year 1839 or before that and he is the konohiki under the chief; no one has objected.
Kealakai, wife of Nuuanu, sworn: Our testimonies are similar. That land that Mana had given to Pavao has been recorded in Pavao's name.
