Hear ye, O Land Commissioners, I hereby present my land claim at Keaa. The boundaries are explained herein: Keaa nui is the boundary on the east, Waikoekoe is the boundary on the west, the highway to Kamehaikana is the boundary on the south, and the sea of Honomalino is on the north. See the diagram below which explains - this is the east side.

All these five claims are mine. What is lacking is the explanation of the boundaries. It is a great deal of work to show them, the lengths and widths are not shown - perhaps it can be done, but perhaps this work will be very poorly done. Farewell to you, the Land Commissioners.

.... this land; he has been evicted. There was no offense; it was not known and he was gone in 1844. It had been for Kamakani to Aki, then to Keau in 1832. The years mentioned in the deed are erroneous. Recently (?) 1839, there have been objections.

Makai by a precipice by the beach
Hilo by Kalakalaula ahupuaa
Dry land, it has been cultivated, no house.
2. Section II:

Makai by konohiki
Hilo by Kalakalaula ahupuaa
Dry land, partially cultivated, no house.
Leleihoku had given him /land/ in 1847; no one had objections.
Kaheenalu, sworn and stated, I have known exactly in the same way as Kapau has related here.
