To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I, the undersigned, hereby tell you of my land claim, for one house lot, two taro lo`i, and also a kula, in the `ili of Kaluaopalena, in the Ahupua`a of Kalihi, Island of Oahu.

Pao, sworn, I knew claimant before his death. He died last spring, about April. I know of his making the will now presented, but did not see him sign it.

This land is in Kaluapalena, Kalihi, in 3 pieces:

1. House lot, fenced and has 2 houses ....

Keaomakani, wife of Kanakanui, I am speaking rightfully of Kanakanui's bequest to Kaihihiwa of the land I do not think that bequest was proper for I should get one third of the land as indicated by law. This woman is saying according to the law.
