Land Commissioners, House of the Privy Council, Greetings to you all:I, the undersigned, hereby tell you of my claim which I got in 1835. It is taro land in the land of the konohiki, whose name is Kama, in Kalihi kai on the Island of Oahu. The boundaries of this claim are, on the north the large pond which is called Pahukikala; on the east, Alika's land; on the south, the kula of the konohiki, Kama; on the west, Keoki's land. This claim is in the `ili of Kama, it is named Kaaleo and I have had it continuously until now.
House lot Claim. I got this in the year 1832 and have had it since then. This house claim is in the land of John Ii, in Kalihi kai, in the village called Puuhale in Kalihi, Oahu. It is bounded on the north by a lot for K ....

.... Kama - I do not know that Kaililaukea has not attended konohiki work in the least for the two years and nine months.
Kaililaukea - That is not it, it is a remark made in anger.
Peapea, sworn, I have known that Kaililaukea had made an appeal to Hooliliamanu, in that he may have a chief's tenure on konohiki work days, but in the month of July 1851, I saw him work for the konohiki. This time he has paid in dollars for the konohiki work days.
Kahalehapai, sworn, I have known that he had chief's tenure at the time of Hooliliamanu. He did not [work] on konohiki days until the time of Kuluwailehua. I do not know how many years he had been idle nor do I know how he had received this place.
