To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I, the undersigned, hereby tell you of my claim for land in the `ili at Palikea in Honolulu. There are four taro lo`i, one lo`i is on the south of the lo`i of Kaiapapa, on the north of the lo`i of Halona. Two lo`i are together, on the east of the taro lo`i of Molina. The fourth lo`i adjoins the west of the lo`i of Hopu. There is also my claim for my house lot, adjoining the land of Kaniku.

Kahili's land is from Kepu which he received in the year 1831 and he has lived inpeace; no one has objected to him to this day.
Makailuuwai, sworn and stated, "I have known exactly as Kaiapapa has related here and no one has objected to him."
