To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim at Laukalo. There are five taro lo`i. Four lo`i are in one mo`o. One of mine is in the mo`o of Kanakaole, that is the fifth. My little kula claim is west of the Government Doctor's place /ko Kauka Aupunu/. My houselot is at Honolulu kai in the lot of Koiamai.

.... am cancelling my original claim for the pasture in Nuuanu, the boundaries of which are:
Kaina's place, on the north
Paakahi's place, south and
Kaaha's place on the western side.
This pasture [kula] is in the land of Laukalo. M. Kekuanaoa and I had a talk when I learned this interest is for him and for the government in addition to the Friday (interest).
