To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby state my claim for land at Palikea in Honolulu. There are five patches. One patch /is bounded/ on the south by Kepu's land, on the west by Kaohana's /land/, on the north by the patch of Kepu, on the east by the patch of Kapahi. /Another patch is bounded/ on the south by the patch of Kuaana, on the north is Kapahi's land, on the west is Kahili's land, on the north is Kaaleo. One patch is in another place; on the south is the patch of Paiwa, on the west and north is Molina's. One patch is in another place; on the west is Kapaeli, however, Kapaeli belongs to Palikea. There is also a house lot in another land, Kaaha.

Pehu's land, Ewa.

Kamaikui's land, mauka
Kaaha's land, Waikiki;
Kepu's land, makai
Kamaikui's land, Ewa.
All of these four sections belongingto Holoua have been from Kepu, given at the time of Kuakini and Holoua has lived there to this day in peace."
