.... 35 and we did this for three years before I finally left that land.
Kumukahi, sworn: I am a native for that land of Palikea from the time of Kaomi. I have known the boundaries of Kanwananakoa and Palikea in Honolulu district. It is known that the high bank is the boundary of Kawnananakoa and the low border is for Piikea. Kawnananakoa is mauka and Piikea, Makai. I had known this because we were building a pond for the fish Kinau had bought and Kaaha had come to plant his taro. All had been well until recently in 1846. Kaaha claimed a portion of land which ahs been settled by Hooliliamanu.
It has been decided some land officers shall make a thorough investigation of this place at Kawnananakoa, Honolulu district, over which there is a dispute.
