To the Land Commissioners, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim, in the `ili `aina at Pauoa. Kumuulu is the name of the `ili `aina and Kapaloa is my mo`o `aina.

On the east is Kewalo, on the north is Kamaka's place, on the west is Laenui's place, on the south is Keawe's place,

My house lot claim is at a place adjoining Auwaiolimu, on the north is Pualiinuawai, on the east is the road, on the south ig Hamea's place, on the west is the stream adjoining the fence.

There is no fence on this property nor is there a house. There are ten patches, nine of which are for food. There is one pasture. Paniani's land had been from Kuhia during the time of Kinau, and he is living there peacefully. No one has objected. We were military officers at that time."
