I got this land in the year 1834. Keaniani had it and was dispossessed, then Kuakini had it and was dispossessed, and then Kapu had it and was dispossessed. I got my land from Kapu and Kapu got his from Keaniani. There are eight patches, and a small house lot, and at this time a patch has been taken by Keawaeluahi.

Kalawahine, toward the sea.
There is no house, there are eight patches with an adjoining pasture. These are from Naihekapu in the year 1833 and living has been there since to this day, but there has [have] been objections to one of the patches and that is the eighth one. Keaweluahi is the protestor. There are four patches in section one and the protest has been for the fourth patch and there are four patches also in the second section.
Pipili, sworn and stated, "I have seen this property exactly as Paaluhi has just related here."
