To the Land Commissioners whom the Mo'i has appointed: -The petition by Kaailauhala to you for the house lot situated in Honolulu. That house lot is my own from my makuakane, Ahukipi. The witnesses who know of this are Namauu and Honokaupu. When the day and time comes then I will go and tell of the correct reasons.

.... 39;s living there is under Keaweopu, yet he is protesting Keaweopu. Umikehoa died in the year 1843 and had bequested the property to Keaweopu, his young brother. Kaailauhala has house interest on this property at this time. No one has objected to Keaweopu."
Honokaupu, sworn and said, "I have seen this property exactly as all of the things Namauu has just related here."
Kaailauhala's objections has been confirmed by the land officers who quiet land titles. No. 53
