No. 954, Kaha, Honolulu, October 25, 1847
N.R. 558v2
Greetings to the Land Commissioners: I hereby tell you of my house lot claim in Kamakela in Honolulu. It is bounded on the north by the taro patch of Puaalelepa, on the east by our patch, on the south by the land of Kaawa, on the west by our patch. We began to occupy this place when Kaahumanu I was living and we have held it peacefully, with no objections. Four houses stand in this place. Our patches are here at Kamakela- 1 lo`i adjoins a lot of ours and there [are] some others in another place, which we have held peacefully under the konohiki.

.... Miko's land, oceanside.
All of these places have no fence. Four houses are on this house site, one of which is for Kaha, two for Pakamia and one for Poolipi and these people are all living under Kaha. Kaha has one patch on the house site, three on the second parcel, three on the third and one patch on the fourth parcel. Kaha had received his interest from Kapokini who was the konohiki at the time of Poki when he was living here. No one has objected."
Palimea, sworn and stated, "I have seen this property exactly as Keaweluahi has just related here."
