The President and the Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim at Auwaiolimu in Honolulu, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Paaluhi and Naolulo, and the land of Hinawale and Makaha, on the east by the road and and [sic] of the pali, on the south by the land of Keoki, on the west by the Iand of Waikahalulu. Two po`alimas are situated in my garden and some of my houses are standing there, ....

the government road leading to Nuuanu is on the Ewa side.
There are ten patches on this parcel of land, three houses and three land possessors all under Paeumuai. Paeannui's interest had been from Kamehameha I, no one objecting."
