To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim. It is at Kahapuupuu in Waikele, Ewa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Kamale, on the east by the stream of Waipahu, on the south by the land of Kukuiaina, on the west by kula land a land fence.
I am, with thanks, your obedient servant.

Manini, the konohiki of said land and know ye all people through this document that I have no claim there and I may not appeal to any court for any rights. In truth, I do hereby attach my signature on this 4th day of April, 1851 in Honolulu.
