To the Honorable Land Commissioners of the Hawaiian Islands, Greetings: I hereby tell you of my land claim at Polapola in Honouliuli, Ewa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north by the land of Laamaikahiki, on the east by the land of Hilinae and the land of Ohai, on the south by the land of Ohai, and the land of Keka, on the west by the land of Kukae, and Kalama. The second of my claims is bounded on the north by the land of Kapiioho, on the east by the land of Lauwahine and the land of Naholowaa, a pa`ahao /government patch/ on the west, the land of Naio. There is one house only on the first section; 7 patches and one pasture on the second section and five patches on the third section. Kikala's land is from Kaope which had been given in the year 1834 or 5 probably; no one had objected."
