The President of the Honorable Land Commissioners: I hereby tell of my claim which is at Kapuaihalulu, Ewa, Island of Oahu. It is bounded on the north and east by the land of Paahana, on the south by the land of Poonui and on the west by the land of Poonui. The second of my claims is at Kainalu, Waiawa. It is bounded on the north by the land of Paahana, on the east by the land of Kahauolono, on the south by a stream, on the west by a pond.

Kamalai, sworn, This land is in Waiawa of Ewa, consisting of 6 pieces. Kulou is their general name, they are partly kalo & kula.

5. The boundaries of section five are:
Keaomahuilani's land, Mauka
Kahnolono's land and Paahana's land, Honolulu
Kaeo Ehu's land, Makai and Waianae.
These are fish ponds only in the ili lands of Kalono.
6. The boundaries of the patch at Kapuaihalulu are:
Poonui's land, Mauka
Kaanuu's land, Honolulu
Ohia's land, Makai and Waianae.
This is a single taro patch, an interest Puakai had received from Kaanuu in the year 1846.
Sections one to five are from Kalunaaina, acquired in the year 1838. Kaanuu had received his land a very long time ago and no one has objected."
