Greetings to you, the Esteemed Land Commissioners: I hereby tell you of my house lot claims and patch:
1. The first is at Peleula at a place close to the stone arched bridge makai of there. This little house lot is mine; it was one parcel and it was divided into two by the road, therefore the west parcel wads made into a patch, and a partion was left /abandoned/?.
2. The second of my house lot claims adjoins just mauka of the Church at Kaumakapili. This place is mine.
3. The third of my house lot claims is on the edge of the estuary bordering the big bridge going to Ewa; my small parcel is on the north of there. That ends my explanation of my claims /which I have held/ without contention, from my kane, deceased, from whom I inherited it.
There are many witnesses of these little claims of which I am telling you truthfully.
I am, with thanks to you, the Land Commissioners of the Mo`i.

Now that Puahiki has gone away, he has given that property to Umiokalani in writing and all the people who re living there shall live under her. This was documented in 1848.
Decision pending until all the land commissioners are present.

Moehau, sworn, I have seen his place at Peleula in Honolulu district.
2 houses and two taro patches separated by a road. The Ewa side of Nuuanu Street has not been enclosed.
The boundaries are:
Mauka, a stream
Waikiki, a ditch
Makai, Piikoi
Ewa, I. Kapena's pasture.
Kamehameha I had given this interest to Kane and at his death was inherited by Umiokalani and he has continued to live there to this time. No one has objected.
Pa, sworn, Our testimonies are similar. No one has objected.
